Ride Recap – HCC Saturday Ride 11/15/2014 – Arlington Blvd / Wildcat

What’s up HCC!

We had a great day of riding as we revisited Arlington Blvd and Spruce and descended down Wildcat.  The morning started out cold with 18 riders that rolled out of Hercules.  We had 4 new riders joining us today, Joey, Danny, Rob, and Rigo, welcome to HCC!  We hope y’all join us again soon!

Thanks to Andy M.  for leading another great ride!

The group started out with a mild to moderate pace headed to Arlington Blvd.  The group stayed together for the most part as expected.  Jaime and Joey rode an A group pace as they pushed through the route until everyone regrouped at Inspiration Point.

Even though it was only 33 miles and 2800 ft of climbing, it still presented a good work out climbing up Arlington and Spruce.

The group also pushed a higher pace on SPDR, as Joey, Jaime, Jonah, Francisco, and Ron pace lined, switching pulls in the front until the regroup at Castro Ranch.

The group made it all safe back to Hercules as we ended the ride with Coffee and Pastries at East Bay Coffee Company!  What a great way to always end our local rides!

Thanks again to everyone who came out to ride!  Next week, we have another epic one for y’all as we tackle King’s Mountain in the peninsula.  There is a chance of rain, so stay tuned for weather updates throughout the week!  If it doesn’t rain, hope to see y’all then!
